Medical Director - OneHome

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required. Work must be performed in the local/residing time zone after training; onboarding is conducted in EST.

Salary: $223,800–$313,100 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Review clinical cases and determine the medical necessity of services for Medicare and Medicaid members.
• Evaluate home health, skilled nursing facility, durable medical equipment, and dual Medicare/Medicaid requests.
• Apply CMS guidance, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid requirements, clinical guidelines, hirify.global policies, and applicable contracts.
• Ensure case decisions comply with federal and state regulations, review procedures, and clinical standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve medical management operations and support Home Solutions initiatives.
• Participate in weekday, weekend, and after-hours call rotations, educational activities, and subject-matter content creation.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Current, active ABMS or AOABPS board certification; NBPAS certification is not accepted.
• Current unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state and willingness to obtain additional licenses as required for the assigned region.
• At least five years of direct clinical patient care experience after residency or fellowship.
• No federal or state governmental sanctions and ability to pass credentialing requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, data interpretation, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and technology-adaptation skills.

Nice to have

• Inpatient or outpatient experience, or experience with Medicare-type populations, including disabled or older adults.
• Background in internal medicine, family practice, geriatrics, physiatry, emergency medicine, critical care, surgery, or hospital-based clinical specialties.
