Software Developer (.NET)

Location: South Plainfield, New Jersey, United States; usually performed in a normal office environment. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Occasional travel may be required, anticipated at no more than 10%.

Salary: $94,000–$117,000 USD base compensation per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain web and .NET applications, reusable components, and responsive user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern development practices and AI-assisted tools.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and application support.
• Create technical documentation for application features, development processes, and system implementations.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, designers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve usability.
• Troubleshoot software defects and production issues and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• 2–4 years of professional experience developing applications with C#, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and preferably SQL Server.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks such as Bootstrap; familiarity with jQuery is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills, plus experience with version control and AI-assisted coding or debugging tools.
