Sr. Accounting Manager

Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid work arrangements may include a mix of in-office and remote work depending on role and business needs

Base salary: $132,456.81–$179,206.28 USD per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Lead global monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Oversee journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and close-calendar management.
• Maintain internal controls and support SOX compliance and public-company readiness.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR, and international finance teams.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, technical accounting research, and team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant experience in a publicly traded company.
• 4+ years of people leadership or Accounting Manager-level experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance.
• Experience managing complex month-end close processes in a global manufacturing organization.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with Oracle ERP or comparable enterprise financial systems.
• Experience managing accounting operations across multiple international entities.
• Experience driving process improvements, automation, finance transformation, external audits, and public-company reporting.
