Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Develop equipment specifications, cost analyses, and proposals for integrating automated machinery into manufacturing processes.
• Transition products from development into production and validate new manufacturing processes through pilot runs.
• Support production and assembly teams with process troubleshooting, technical documentation, engineering changes, and rework processes.
• Analyze workforce utilization, workflow, space requirements, equipment layouts, production times, and related costs.
• Develop and maintain routings, labor standards, method sheets, operator training, and process capability documentation in line with ISO standards.
• Design and lead the Lean Manufacturing roadmap, including kaizen events, process improvement projects, and Lean transformation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of related experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to coordinate product design, development, and introduction activities with production teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with time studies, workflow analysis, statistical process control, and process failure modes and effects analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use Excel for cost analysis.

Nice to have

• Training in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Experience manufacturing pre-terminated fiber optic or copper cable assemblies.
