hirify.global is hiring for a manufacturing-focused Lean engineering role supporting operational improvement initiatives.

What you will do

  • Partner with the Lean Manager and cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance.
  • Lead and support Kaizen events, problem-solving activities, and process improvement projects that reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Analyze manufacturing and operational data to identify trends and support data-driven decisions.
  • Develop standardized work, visual management systems, and 5S practices across the facility.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize workflows, reduce downtime, and improve process capability.
  • Track project actions and performance metrics, and coach employees in Lean thinking and practical problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, quality, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Two or more years of experience in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, operations, quality, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Lean principles and tools including 5S, Standard Work, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Management, Root Cause Analysis, and waste reduction.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading projects, facilitating teams, or driving process improvements in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

Nice to have

  • Lean or Six Sigma certification.
