Business Performance Improvement – FPM - Financial Planning and Analytics Associate Director (FP&A)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. Hybrid work combining local office, client-site, and remote work; travel may include local or out-of-state client assignments.

Salary: $151,000–$257,000 per year, plus a 16% bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead client engagements and strengthen relationships with strategic clients.
• Identify and manage risks while developing solutions for complex business problems.
• Improve finance processes and support strategic, profitable business decisions through analytics, automation, and modern tools.
• Oversee project work plans, budgets, deliverables, and engagement teams.
• Mentor team members and create development and training opportunities.
• Support proposals, business development, and growth of the Financial Planning and Analytics practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Accounting or Finance; a graduate degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant FP&A and/or Corporate Finance experience; consulting experience is preferred.
• Experience with finance strategy, process improvement, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, financial reporting, analytics, and finance business partnering.
• Experience leading and managing teams, client engagements, project budgets, and deliverables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with EPM technologies such as OneStream, Adaptive, Anaplan, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Oracle EPM/BPCS.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Prior consulting experience.
• Experience with AI and machine learning applied to finance or business performance.
