FP&A Analyst (AI)

Location: Seattle, US; hybrid

Salary: $87K–$124K annually plus equity

What you will do

• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis, using AI tools for model-building and quality assurance.
• Own OPEX budgeting, actuals reporting, and monthly variance reviews with department leaders.
• Develop company-wide dashboards covering SaaS metrics, AI adoption and ROI, and GTM ROI.
• Support headcount planning with People and department leads.
• Perform ad hoc analysis for strategic initiatives and leadership decisions.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting, forecasting, and analysis with AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Math, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in an analytical role; internships and strong academic projects count.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills with hands-on financial modeling and dashboard experience.
• Daily use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT, with sound judgment when reviewing AI output.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to turn large data sets into actionable insights and communicate with non-finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in management consulting or a SaaS or subscription business.
• Experience with planning or BI tools such as Drivetrain, Anaplan, Adaptive, Pigment, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• SQL skills or the ability to pull data independently.
• Experience partnering with GTM or department leaders on budget, headcount, or pipeline decisions.
• Experience with AI or automation workflows and NetSuite, Salesforce, or comparable ERP/CRM systems.
