Robot Repair Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States. Work is primarily performed onsite in a workshop or repair facility.

Base salary: $30.40–$41.13 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, final testing, and maintenance on complex equipment and robotic systems.
• Lead repair projects and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion and quality control.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and improve repair procedures, tools, and techniques.
• Maintain detailed repair documentation, parts records, reports, and equipment performance insights.
• Support high-priority customer repair needs and provide expert technical recommendations.
• Mentor junior technicians, oversee specialized inventory, and promote safety compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an advanced technical certification or associate degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in repair or technical roles involving complex repairs and maintenance.
• Expertise with repair tools, equipment, advanced diagnostics, and complex technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience with process improvement and quality assurance practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, project management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and work in varied positions for extended periods.
