Maintenance Technician Assistant (Robotics)

Location: Phillipsburg, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $19–22 per hour plus an 8% annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Respond to equipment jams on conveyors and workstations to minimize downtime.
• Support robot retrieval and recovery during downtime windows.
• Assist maintenance technicians with system availability, performance, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Promote correct equipment operating procedures with customer operators.
• Clean equipment, remove debris, support setup and tooling changes, and report issues.
• Receive, label, transport, and count materials, supplies, and spare parts while completing required documentation.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial equipment and warehouse automation.
• Ability to follow work instructions, procedures, maintenance schedules, PPE requirements, and LOTO practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to communicate and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to use hand tools and lifts rated up to 250 lbs, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights up to 50 ft, and perform physically demanding movements.
