Executive Director, Technology Strategy, Business Effectiveness (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY; on-site role at 300 Madison Ave, Floor 8. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

Salary: $180,000–$244,600 per year for the New York market, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional incentive compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Partner with corporate and investment banking leaders to identify strategic technology priorities and translate business needs into actionable solutions.
• Develop and maintain technology, product, and transformation roadmaps aligned with Global Corporate and Investment Banking objectives.
• Lead digitalization, process re-engineering, operating model redesign, platform modernization, and workflow optimization programs.
• Design and govern data models and taxonomies supporting product management, reporting, analytics, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive AI adoption, market intelligence, competitor analysis, customer insights, and the use of emerging technologies.
• Manage and develop product strategists, transformation leaders, and data specialists while presenting recommendations and progress to executive management.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate and investment banking, focused on product strategy, transformation, or innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, data science, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation, change management, and data-driven initiatives within a global financial institution.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, taxonomy development, and data governance for banking products and services.
• Strong knowledge of global banking products, regulatory requirements, market trends, and emerging technologies.
• Exceptional executive-level leadership, stakeholder management, influencing, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
