Director, BTS Technology for Corporate Functions (AI)

Location: North Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $182,000–$346,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop and execute 2–3-year technology strategies supporting Legal, Ethics and Compliance, and Corporate Affairs.
• Build technology solutions that improve data maturity, measurement, automation, and AI-ready operations.
• Advise senior business and technology leaders on strategic priorities, innovation needs, and business value.
• Lead teams of senior managers and directors across multiple business and technology domains.
• Manage resource strategy, organizational structure, performance, talent development, and succession planning.
• Influence decisions affecting financial, employee, and public relations outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and 12+ years of experience.
• Experience managing teams of at least 15 people, including managers, employees, matrixed and virtual teams, contractors, and managed service providers.
• Experience managing a budget of at least $15 million.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technology to senior and non-technical stakeholders.
• Consultative, techno-functional expertise across multiple technology or business domains.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees while connecting functional goals to business objectives.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience with data strategy, analytics, intelligent automation, AI-enabled operations, digital products, web platforms, and enterprise workflow systems.
