Director, Federal Solutions (AI)

Location: Tysons, Virginia, United States. U.S. citizenship and authorization to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship are required.

Salary: $182,000–$247,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead, hire, coach, mentor, and develop Federal Solution Leaders.
• Own technical delivery quality and mission impact across federal accounts.
• Establish architecture standards, delivery methods, reusable solution patterns, and best practices.
• Staff engagements, balance capacity, and resolve complex technical and data challenges.
• Represent delivery teams with government executives and support escalations and technical demonstrations.
• Bridge field delivery insights with product and engineering teams while improving federal delivery playbooks.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• 10+ years in technical delivery, engineering, or technically focused consulting, including 4+ years leading technical teams.
• Hands-on credibility in software engineering, data engineering, enterprise AI, or technical delivery, with the ability to evaluate architectures and design tradeoffs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical or quantitative discipline.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise software, AI/ML, or data solutions to production and working with cloud data warehouses, APIs, CI/CD, containers, cloud-native services, or infrastructure as code.

Nice to have

• CI or Full-Scope Polygraph and experience with classified, SCIF, or air-gapped environments.
• U.S. military or government service and experience with Defense, Intelligence Community, or Aerospace & Defense programs.
• Experience with generative AI, predictive maintenance, optimization, or decision-support solutions.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels, ATO processes, or ITAR/EAR requirements.
