What you will do
- Provide direct nursing care and monitor the health, safety, and well-being of residents.
- Make daily and as-needed resident rounds and conduct thorough assessments.
- Assist with training and monitoring medication administration.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate resident care.
- Supervise care staff in accordance with state regulations and community policies.
- Maintain clinical quality assurance and compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license.
- Experience with long-term care, assisted living, home health, or hospital settings is preferred.
- Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, methods, and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to learn new applications.
- Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, lifting, and supporting residents weighing up to 50 pounds.
