PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Akron, OH

Location: Akron, Ohio, United States; onsite clinical role

Salary: $24.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support a concierge physician with clinical and administrative functions.
• Interview patients, document assessments in the electronic medical record, and report findings to the physician.
• Perform venipuncture, basic laboratory tests, injections, EKGs, and other office-based procedures.
• Assist with medical procedures and operate diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including oxygen therapy and EKG equipment.
• Coordinate patient flow, referrals, specialist visits, medical record requests, and communications with patients, pharmacies, and medical offices.
• Keep exam rooms clean, disinfected, and stocked while supporting a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma and graduation from a formal practical nursing training program.
• Current BLS certification and a nursing license to practice in the state of application.
• Exceptional phlebotomy skills.
• Ability to give injections, complete EKGs, and perform other office-based procedures.
• Two or more years of LPN experience preferred, ideally in primary care.
