Ink Technician - 2nd Shift (Silk Screen Printing)

Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States; onsite production role

Salary: $19.00–$21.00 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Manage ink supplies and prepare substrates, screens, squeegees, and related materials for production orders.
• Set up and operate automatic cylinder screen printing presses, including feeders, take-off systems, stackers, and dryers.
• Print proofs, verify color matching and registration, and maintain production quality throughout each run.
• Inspect printed materials, collect production samples, and complete shift production records.
• Clean and maintain presses and workstations, perform minor repairs, and follow safety procedures.
• Support flatbed operations, cover cylinder press shifts, train press helpers, and contribute to process and quality improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience operating a silk screen press.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills and mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, willingness to work overtime, and reliable transportation.
• Correctable eyesight of 20/20, adequate visual acuity, and normal color perception.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, stoop, and lift 25 pounds regularly or up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Nice to have

• Experience in the plastic card industry.
• Experience operating a Sakurai press.
