Manufacturing Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Billerica, MA, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience

What you will do

• Operate manufacturing equipment and perform trimming, testing, fixturing, assembly, and packaging tasks according to work orders and documented instructions.
• Inspect products visually, verify compliance with specifications, and escalate quality issues when necessary.
• Complete production reports, labels, component sheets, rework sheets, SAP transactions, and other required documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of rejected materials, process variables, and good-product counts.
• Participate in 6S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and eliminate non-value-added work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, use required personal protective equipment, and follow approved safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
• Good attention to detail, basic math, and computer data-entry skills.
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand or power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 15 ft., and stand or walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive pinching, grasping, twisting, bending, reaching, and handling of small components.

• One year of manufacturing experience.
