Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: Rushville, Indiana, USA; hybrid work arrangement. Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required.

What you will do

• Generate, maintain, and analyze financial and operational reports for monthly business reviews and process improvement initiatives.
• Support annual budgeting, standard cost updates, monthly forecasting, and weekly and monthly financial close activities.
• Provide cost and general ledger accounting support, including journal entries, account reconciliations, operational reporting, and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Complete inventory reconciliations, investigate variances, and support manufacturing planning and operations.
• Develop analytical tools, financial models, KPIs, and business case analyses for operational decision-making.
• Partner with manufacturing engineering, production control, manufacturing, quality, and department leadership teams on cross-functional projects and ad hoc analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related accounting experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of financial analysis experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end close activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including linked spreadsheets, data downloads, complex formulas, and pivot tables.
• Ability to analyze financial and operational data from multiple systems, build financial models, solve problems, and collaborate across functions.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• CPA and/or MBA.
• Three to five years of financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting theories, and practices.
• Experience with Power BI, data visualization tools, manufacturing operations, inventory analysis, and large datasets.
