Accountant (Manufacturing)

Location: Mapleton, Illinois, United States; onsite 5 days a week. Domestic relocation is available.

Salary: $97,530–$146,290 per year.

What you will do

• Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
• Create internal and external financial performance reports and automated tools for consolidated-results reporting.
• Partner with plant leadership to review variances, build forecasts, answer questions, and improve financial acumen.
• Manage legal-entity and accountable reporting for the Mapleton foundry.
• Coordinate monthly reporting, analysis, closing activities, and work priorities with the accounting center of excellence.
• Provide financial support and leadership for facility-led cost-reduction projects.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience desired.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to process large volumes of detailed information.
• Experience with accounting practices, financial transactions, charts of accounts, and financial reporting procedures.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and apply qualitative and quantitative financial analysis tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with manufacturing plant leaders at multiple organizational levels.
• Must work onsite five days per week in Mapleton, Illinois. Visa sponsorship is not available.
