Lead, NPD Sourcing Operations (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote - Wisconsin, United States; up to 10% domestic and international travel required

Salary: $111,766–$184,139 annually, plus benefits, 401(k) contribution, and eligibility for a short-term incentive plan

What you will do

• Own end-to-end ODM and contract manufacturing sourcing strategies from RFP and supplier selection through prototype, development, validation, and mass production ramp.
• Lead make-versus-buy and ODM-versus-Nogales trade-off analyses for new products.
• Represent sourcing in new product development programs and coordinate deliverables, launch schedules, and toll-gate reviews with engineering, product management, and program management.
• Manage supplier risks, manufacturing capacity, supply commitments, sourcing decisions, and time-to-market mitigations.
• Own scope agreements covering NRE, tooling, unit pricing, capacity commitments, and IP ownership; manage budgets, tooling amortization, and total cost of ownership analyses.
• Lead supplier negotiations, cross-functional decision-making, executive updates, and IP discussions with Legal.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, sourcing, or logistics.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and product development teams.
• Supplier relationship management experience with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to present project updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; travel availability of up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of operations, purchasing, finance, manufacturing, transportation, production capacity, lead times, POs, MOQ, cost structures, margins, cycle time, logistics, Incoterms, and freight costs.
• Experience with SAP, Power BI, and Excel analytical tools.
