Indirect Procurement Lead (IT & Telecom)

Location: Buffalo, NY; fully remote or hybrid if local to Buffalo. Travel up to 10%.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 annually

What you will do

• Support enterprise-wide IT and Telecom procurement activities across operating groups and global locations.
• Prepare, review, negotiate, renew, amend, and administer supplier agreements and related purchase documentation.
• Lead sourcing events, supplier evaluations, competitive bidding, and supplier selection processes.
• Partner with Legal, Trade Compliance, Cybersecurity, Finance, and business stakeholders to address contractual and operational requirements.
• Evaluate supplier proposals, pricing structures, total cost of ownership, and supplier-related risks.
• Develop IT and Telecom category strategies, monitor supplier performance, and identify savings and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, vendor management, contract administration, IT asset management, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting IT, Telecommunications, Software, Cloud Services, Infrastructure, SaaS, or technology procurement categories.
• Experience with sourcing initiatives, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contract review, and supplier agreements.
• Knowledge of procurement principles, sourcing methodologies, supplier relationship management, category management, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.

Nice to have

• Procurement or supply chain certifications such as CPSM, CPSD, CSCP, or CPM.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience with global procurement operations, supplier risk management, software licensing, or cloud services agreements.
• Experience using SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, or similar enterprise procurement platforms.
