Assistant Area Manager

Location: Panama City Beach, Florida, United States; must reside within a short drive of the vacation rental properties and maintain an in-market presence.

Salary: $60,000–$64,000 per year plus a performance bonus.

What you will do

• Support the Area Manager with daily operations across hirify.global vacation rental properties and act as market lead when needed.
• Inspect properties, maintain quality standards, monitor supplies and linens, and identify operational or quality issues.
• Resolve guest and homeowner concerns through email, calls, texts, Slack, and support tickets.
• Coordinate housekeeping and routine rental maintenance, including inventory, linens, Wi-Fi, cable, and property upkeep.
• Train, coach, and evaluate field operations personnel while coordinating work across the in-market team.
• Travel frequently between properties and participate in rotating after-hours on-call coverage.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hospitality or customer-facing experience.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills; Salesforce knowledge is helpful.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, flexible schedules, and rotating on-call shifts.
• Reliable snow-ready vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to spend most working time standing, walking, and driving, with occasional lifting of more than 25 pounds.
• Strong self-management, prioritization, responsiveness, and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Vacation rental industry experience.
• Experience in hospitality or real estate.
• Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation.
