Layout/Mechanical Engineer (Power Generation)

What you will do

• Develop and review plant layouts, equipment arrangements, plot plans, and related 3D/2D engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate mechanical engineering activities with multidisciplinary project teams throughout project execution.
• Specify, evaluate, select, and integrate mechanical equipment and auxiliary plant systems.
• Review supplier documentation and support procurement, manufacturing, and equipment integration.
• Support construction, commissioning, startup, and technical design reviews.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and global engineering teams to resolve technical issues and optimize plant designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in plant layout engineering, mechanical engineering, power generation, industrial facilities, or related project environments.
• Experience with AutoCAD, AVEVA E3D, PDMS, MicroStation, or similar plant design and CAD software.
• Knowledge of power plant systems, equipment layout development, and multidisciplinary engineering interfaces.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills for multidisciplinary and global project teams.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship is required.
