Product Manager (Payments)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; at least 3 days in the office. Travel is required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $131,600–$210,300 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Drive product strategy from conception through implementation.
• Identify and evaluate new business and market opportunities.
• Develop business plans and define market requirements for products.
• Collaborate with systems, marketing, and sales as a central product resource.
• Formulate and execute long-term plans for cost and profit control.
• Promote new technologies and industry-leading product trends, including generative AI tools.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• Experience in product management, product ownership, business process analysis, or sales operations.
• Experience applying Agile principles across design, development, testing, and product management.
• Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams, including large Scrum teams.
• Experience developing software capabilities for sales, service, or customer relationship management functions.
• Experience with product strategy, API development using SOAP or REST, JSON and XML, API security, encryption, and HSMs is relevant to the role.

Nice to have

• Agile certifications such as CSM or CSPO.
• Experience with issuers and clients in financial services or high-growth technology companies.
• Experience in payments, common services, or identity and access management.
• Experience driving product adoption and revenue growth in global, highly matrixed organizations.
