IT Business Application Analyst (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Partner with departments to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Own application solutions from discovery and design through configuration, testing, deployment, training, and continuous improvement.
• Design and administer Jira projects, workflows, issue types, screens, custom fields, permissions, dashboards, reporting, and integrations.
• Build and maintain Confluence spaces, SharePoint sites, document-management solutions, and Power Automate workflows.
• Configure Microsoft Dynamics workflows, forms, views, dashboards, security roles, reporting, integrations, and data-management solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, workflow, permission, integration, and data issues while validating solutions with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and implementing application changes with business stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Data Center and Confluence Data Center, including Jira workflow design.
• Experience with ScriptRunner for Jira, Jira Automation, and preferably Groovy.
• Experience administering Microsoft SharePoint and building Power Automate workflows.
• Experience configuring or supporting Microsoft Dynamics, with strong process analysis, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Must work on-site in Houston, Texas, and meet applicable U.S. ITAR requirements.

• Experience with application integrations, upgrades, migrations, testing, and change management.
• Experience facilitating discovery and process-mapping sessions.
• Experience supporting business applications in aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, or regulated environments.
