Product Designer (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; on-site

Salary: $160K–$210K based on experience, plus equity.

What you will do

• Research customer needs and identify underserved problems.
• Partner with the Head of Design, Product Managers, and Engineers to create solutions from story maps through rough and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Design and iterate user experiences and interactions for web and mobile products.
• Establish and maintain usability standards across the product experience.
• Prepare clean, well-documented, engineering-ready design files.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system.

Requirements

• Strong product and systems thinking with the ability to investigate complex problems.
• Experience designing for both web and mobile.
• Strong UI and interaction design skills focused on simplicity, usability, and detail.
• Ability to validate assumptions, gather feedback from users and colleagues, and refine designs based on findings.
• Portfolio demonstrating problem-solving ability and delivery of high-quality user experiences.
• Collaborative approach and ownership of design work.
