Strategic Initiatives Lead (Banking)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States; four days onsite at Seneca One Buffalo and one day working from home each week

Salary: $89,600–$149,300 annual USD

What you will do

• Lead the scope, approach, resources, and delivery of complex technology and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Develop and implement organizational change management strategies for medium-to-large-scale programs.
• Analyze complex data, processes, structures, stakeholder perspectives, readiness, and change impacts.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, resources, communications, training, and governance materials.
• Build stakeholder relationships, address objections, mitigate resistance, and support adoption and value realization.
• Define success metrics, monitor progress, gather feedback, and ensure compliance with risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience including five years of relevant work.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments under time constraints and communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
• Experience using spreadsheet, database, graphing, and presentation software.
• Ability to work four days onsite in Buffalo, New York and one day from home each week.

Nice to have

• Degree in computer science, finance, economics, mathematics, accounting, engineering, or business administration; MBA or another advanced degree.
• Six or more years of relevant experience.
• Change management certification, banking or financial industry experience, and Six Sigma, Lean, process improvement, or project management education.
• Experience with financial, regulatory, or process analysis and technical writing.
