Sr. Lead, Business Operations - Risk (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York; candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $129,000–$161,000 USD per year for Phoenix, Chicago, or Washington, DC, plus discretionary incentive eligibility and benefits.

What you will do

• Execute the enterprise risk training strategy and manage the integrated training roadmap, including milestones, dependencies, governance, and reporting.
• Coordinate Risk subject matter experts and Learning & Development partners to create role-based training, learning paths, job aids, and learning assets.
• Build and maintain the Risk Knowledge Base in SharePoint with clear ownership, content governance, and maintenance routines.
• Develop risk communications and executive materials for ExCo, the Risk Committee, ERMC, and other governance forums.
• Coordinate quarterly Risk Advisory Boards, including planning, materials, logistics, follow-up, and action tracking.
• Improve operating routines, governance, communications, and knowledge-management practices across Risk and partner functions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant experience, or a comparable portfolio, in business operations, program management, business execution, or a related discipline.
• Experience independently managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
• Experience preparing executive communications, presentations, and decision materials for senior leadership or governance forums.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, judgment, follow-through, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Experience establishing or improving operating routines, governance mechanisms, processes, or knowledge-management practices.
• Eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire; background and drug screening required.

Nice to have

• Experience in enterprise risk management, business controls, compliance, financial services, or another regulated environment.
• Experience developing enterprise training programs or role-based learning paths with Learning & Development and subject matter experts.
• Experience with SharePoint or comparable knowledge-management platforms.
• Experience supporting executive committees, risk committees, advisory boards, or financial-institution stakeholders.
