Category Manager (Fashion & Beauty)

What you will do

• Own commercial performance for assigned fashion and beauty categories, including GMV, gross margin, inventory turnover, availability, and customer growth.
• Develop category strategies based on customer demand, market trends, competitor analysis, and customer behaviour.
• Source, develop, and manage local and international suppliers, brands, and manufacturers.
• Negotiate purchase prices, payment terms, rebates, promotional support, and other commercial conditions.
• Optimise product assortment through new product introduction and removal of underperforming SKUs.
• Manage pricing, promotions, demand forecasting, replenishment, and inventory levels while collaborating with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and other commercial teams.

Requirements

• Based in London, United Kingdom.
• 5+ years of experience in buying, merchandising, category management, or commercial roles, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or fashion.
• Strong understanding of sales, margins, pricing, and inventory management.
• Experience in supplier sourcing and commercial negotiation.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, ownership, and execution skills in a fast-paced environment.
