Senior Manager, Procurement (Pharmaceuticals)

Location: Remote/Home-Based in Dublin, Ireland or London, UK; travel to Jazz offices, supplier sites, and other meeting locations may be required.

What you will do

• Execute strategic sourcing and category management plans across professional services, consulting, contingent workforce, HR services, and corporate functions.
• Lead competitive sourcing initiatives, including RFx execution, bid evaluation, commercial analysis, contract negotiation, and award execution.
• Renegotiate contract renewals, options, and statements of work to improve commercial terms, pricing, service levels, and value.
• Structure complex fee arrangements, including time-and-materials, milestone-based, performance-based, and master rate-card models.
• Partner with Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Digital/IT, Compliance, Security, Privacy, and Technology stakeholders on sourcing and risk management.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, monitor performance, resolve disputes, and track procurement savings with Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of procurement experience with progressive responsibility, including at least 5 years in indirect category management.
• Strong commercial negotiation, planning, analytical, financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Proven record of significant cost reduction and the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, independent judgment, critical thinking, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Ability to work remotely from Dublin, Ireland or London, UK and travel to company offices, supplier sites, and meetings as required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with Coupa’s Business Spend Management Platform and its Source-to-Pay modules.
