Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid schedule with at least 3 days a week in the office

What you will do
- Own end-to-end category strategy, sourcing, and performance for last mile, air, sea, warehousing, and automation services.
- Build cost models, benchmark rates, identify savings, and optimise commercial performance across logistics and fulfilment.
- Develop supplier SLAs, KPIs, and QBRs for courier, freight, and warehousing partners.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Technology, and Sustainability stakeholders on logistics and fulfilment solutions.
- Assess operational, geopolitical, capacity, compliance, and sustainability risks across global logistics networks.
- Use analytics, forecasting, scenario modelling, and market intelligence to guide sourcing and network decisions.
Requirements
- Strong category management experience in courier or last-mile services, with additional exposure to air, sea, warehousing, or automation.
- Knowledge of international carrier networks, freight markets, fulfilment operations, and cross-border logistics.
- Proven ability to negotiate, build cost models, optimise contracts, and establish supply chain sourcing strategies.
- Experience using dashboards, financial models, operational data, procurement systems, and analytical tools.
- Ability to build accountable supplier relationships and influence senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- CIPS certification or relevant procurement experience.

- Experience improving environmental performance across delivery, freight, and fulfilment networks.
- Experience in a dynamic, high-growth online retail environment.
