Womenswear Footwear Buyer (12 Months Mat Cover)

Location: Based at The Barn in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, with typically 5 days in the office and flexible core hours between 8am and 6pm.

Fashion retailer hirify.global is developing The Set, a new own-label range supported by a dedicated buying team.

What you will do

• Develop commercially successful womenswear footwear collections aligned with The Set’s brand vision and DNA.
• Lead fit sessions and oversee quality standards, lab dip and strike-off approvals.
• Collaborate with suppliers to manage communication, processes and delivery timelines.
• Negotiate competitive costs and work toward key performance indicators.
• Analyse sales and trend data to identify opportunities and shape future collections.
• Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Design and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Experienced footwear buying background with some exposure to accessories.
• Strong trend awareness and excellent taste in footwear and accessories.
• Proven experience developing distinctive own-label designs.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and confident in presenting ideas and challenging established processes.
• Ability to work onsite at Market Harborough, Leicestershire, typically 5 days per week.
