Specialist Engineer, OPEX (Lean Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support the site's Continuous Improvement strategy and align initiatives with business objectives and performance indicators.
• Lead strategic site transformation projects to improve competitiveness, efficiency, quality, service, and operating costs.
• Own the plant savings program, including validation, execution, and sustainment of initiatives with measurable financial impact.
• Build, deploy, and mature the GPS operational management system, including standards, mechanisms, evaluations, and assessment preparation.
• Apply Industrial Engineering methods to optimize capacity, productivity, line balancing, resource utilization, production flow, and waste reduction.
• Coach, mentor, train, and advise OPEX engineers and functional teams on Lean Manufacturing, problem solving, productivity, capacity, and process design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Continuous Improvement.
• Experience leading operational management systems, sophisticated Kaizen initiatives, and projects.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including VSM, SWS, SMED, Visual Management, and Kaizen.
• Experience with Lean/GPS management systems, problem-solving methodologies, capacity analysis, line balancing, efficiency analysis, resource utilization, and flow optimization.
