Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (Assembly) (Manufacturing/Assembly): Developing and implementing assembly processes, workstation layouts, equipment improvements, and new product introductions in climate technology manufacturing with an accent on CAD interpretation, automated cells, welding operations, and process documentation. Focus on leading equipment upgrade projects, validating manufacturing resources, troubleshooting production issues, and driving Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvements.

What you will do
- Conceptualize and implement manufacturing process improvements focused on operational optimization and cost reduction.
- Support capacity expansion, new product introductions, and the implementation of new manufacturing processes.
- Define assembly processes, workstation layouts, and material handling systems for new products.
- Provide mechanical engineering solutions for equipment design, component design, automated manufacturing cells, resistance welding, and friction welding.
- Lead equipment upgrade and improvement projects, including RFQ development, installation, validation, commissioning, documentation, and production launch support.
- Create technical documentation, work instructions, process specifications, PFMEAs, and process flow diagrams while providing troubleshooting and hands-on production support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or assembly engineering.
- Experience with new product introductions, assembly processes, and manufacturing process improvements.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies, with strong problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Advanced English communication skills in written and verbal communication.
