What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize manufacturing test procedures, production test scripts, and test methodologies.
• Translate product requirements into test sequences, pass/fail criteria, fixtures, adapters, cabling, and tooling.
• Write, debug, and maintain automated test scripts and software routines for production environments.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, fixture, and process issues using structured root-cause analysis.
• Analyze manufacturing and test data to improve first-pass yield, reduce test escapes, and increase uptime and throughput.
• Support new product introductions and train technicians and manufacturing personnel on test procedures and equipment.

Requirements

• Experience developing and sustaining production test solutions and test fixtures.
• Knowledge of automated test scripting, test equipment, product-to-test-system interfaces, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to collaborate with Test, Product, Design, Quality, Software, and Operations Engineering.
• Experience applying root-cause analysis, lean principles, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Position is based in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
• Travel of approximately 20% is required.
