Senior CAD Specialist (PCB)

Location: United States; U.S. citizenship is required. The role is performed within company facilities.

Salary: USD $162,607–$175,946 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and manage CAD software solutions for defense systems.
• Generate PCB layouts, including component placement, electronic packaging, and drawing documentation.
• Develop high-speed digital signal processing and radio-frequency PCB designs.
• Apply routing principles for high-speed signals and interference control.
• Deliver flexible PCB design solutions and support integrated product teams.
• Troubleshoot design data and configuration issues with external vendors.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience with PCB design, drafting, detailing, packaging, fabrication, and documentation.
• Experience with Xpedition VX2.13 or higher and multi-layer PCB designs of up to 28 layers.
• Knowledge of high-speed routing, interference design, digital signal processing, and high-frequency radio-frequency designs.
• Experience working in integrated product teams and managing multiple jobs simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Experience with DDR4, DDR5, Versal devices, and other high-speed signals with associated constraint management.
• Experience in MIL/Space product design for high reliability.
