Senior Manager, Electrical Engineering (PCB Hardware)

Location: Onsite at the Wilmington, Massachusetts headquarters, United States; travel may be required to project, supplier, business, and customer locations.

Salary: $150,000–$206,800 annual base salary, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for the architecture, design, development, and validation of advanced digital and power electronic systems focused on PCBs.
• Define system architectures and hardware requirements, lead design reviews, and make technical trade-off decisions for complex electronic systems.
• Perform PCB bring-up, electrical validation, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting of developmental and field hardware issues.
• Establish scalable hardware-development processes, design standards, review practices, and validation methods.
• Build and mentor an electrical hardware engineering team while fostering technical excellence, accountability, innovation, and compliance.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, mechanical, reliability, supplier, and manufacturing partners from concept through production and market launch.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of electrical hardware design experience, including at least 3 years in technical leadership or people management.
• Deep hands-on experience with complex PCB design, digital and power electronics, high-speed interfaces, power delivery, signal integrity, and power integrity.
• Experience with EMC, electrical compliance, product safety, global hardware standards, PCB bring-up, validation, and compliance testing.
• Ability to build engineering teams, establish hardware-development processes, and deliver complex projects on demanding timelines.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; a valid driver’s license and ability to travel may be required.
