Experienced Investment Banking Analyst 2 (Technology)

Location: On-site in New York, NY or Portland, OR, United States

Salary: $105,000–$120,000 per year, plus bonus

What you will do

• Support senior bankers on technology-sector investment banking assignments.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, and other advisory services.
• Develop financial analyses covering company valuation, projections, and peer analysis.
• Prepare pitch books, management presentations, information memoranda, and other client materials.
• Coordinate and perform due diligence, support business development, and participate in recruiting efforts.

Requirements

• On-site availability in New York, NY or Portland, OR is required.
• 1–18 months of sell-side M&A experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
• Knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and business software, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication, judgment, discretion, teamwork, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Securities Industry Essentials Exam; Series 79 and Series 63 must be completed after hiring.

• Experience or interest in investment banking, corporate finance, or the technology industry.
