Staff Financial Analyst - Payments (Fintech)

Salary: $154,000–$208,500 annual base pay

What you will do

• Advise the QuickBooks Money team on Bill Pay, Banking, and SMB Credit Card offerings.
• Develop and refine one-year and three-year strategic plans, identifying business risks, opportunities, and investment priorities.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Risk, Commercial, and Analytics teams to define and monitor performance indicators.
• Build financial models for promotions, pricing, sales channels, and product development decisions.
• Prepare month-end close packages, variance explanations, and other financial reporting deliverables.
• Improve, standardize, and automate finance processes and reporting.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of FP&A or related experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or analytics.
• 4+ years of experience in financial forecasting or analytical modeling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, financial modeling, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and influence leadership through data-driven insights.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Finance.
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase.
• Experience in a fintech business or high-growth software environment.
