Analyst, Portfolio Management (Equities)

Location: Santa Monica, United States; hybrid

Salary: $82,500–$105,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Support portfolio cash management, including credit lines, currency hedges, and cash forecasting.
• Analyze voluntary corporate events and recommend elections to Portfolio Managers.
• Prepare data for presentations to clients and internal executives.
• Complete ad hoc requests and collaborate with senior team members on investment projects.
• Propose and execute projects that improve process efficiency and portfolio outcomes.
• Collaborate with Trading, Research, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and client-facing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Understanding of and alignment with the firm’s investment strategy.
• Strong time-management, attention-to-detail, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills, with comfort working with large data sets.
• Background or interest in finance and financial theory, plus intellectual curiosity and aptitude for learning basic programming languages and software.
• Knowledge of SQL, VBA, and/or Excel is helpful.
