2027 Analyst I, Global Leveraged Finance

Location: New York, NY; onsite at 300 Madison Ave

Salary: $115,000 annually for the New York, NY market, plus potential incentive compensation and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Support the origination, structuring, and execution of leveraged loan and high yield bond transactions.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and underwriting materials.
• Conduct financial analysis, comparable company analysis, and capital markets trend analysis.
• Support transaction due diligence, deal documentation, and internal approval processes.
• Collaborate with Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Credit & Market Risk, and Global Markets teams.
• Participate in client meetings, maintain relationships, and monitor market and regulatory developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial markets, credit analysis, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication, technical, computational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and work extended hours when needed.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified location and, where applicable, a valid work or study permit.
