Civil Technologist (Infrastructure Langley)

Location: Full-time onsite position in the Langley office, British Columbia, Canada; site visits and outdoor work are required as needed. Relocation reimbursement is available if relocation is required.

Salary: CAD 57,190–79,400 annually, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Perform onsite inspections and coordinate with contractors, clients, and other site stakeholders.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Civil 3D designs, drawings, and design calculations.
• Conduct and document quality control checks for CAD drafting and Civil 3D work.
• Prepare design folders, reports, project specifications, and contract documents.
• Calculate material quantities and prepare cost estimates for municipal infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in a civil consulting engineering environment.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Eligibility to register as a Trainee Registrant with ASTTBC or as a Technician/Technologist-in-Training with ASET within the first three months.
• Hands-on experience with Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Strong organization, time management, communication, and initiative.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle preferred; willingness to work outdoors onsite as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with MMCD contract processes, particularly construction inspection.
