Project Engineer (Nuclear)

Location: Newmarket, Canada

Salary: CAD 74,600–99,500 per year

What you will do

• Manage and control project work plans to achieve technical, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Review customer purchase orders, technical specifications, and quality requirements, translating them into design, procurement, qualification, and testing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, regulations, and quality expectations.
• Define design approaches and testing parameters, anticipate failure modes, and improve the probability of successful qualification results.
• Lead project teams and meetings while coordinating communication with customers, vendors, operations, quality assurance, sales, and finance.
• Resolve issues involving scope, technical requirements, quality, schedules, resources, costs, and customer interfaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Two to four years of related experience; regulated industry experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal organization and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage time across multiple orders.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• The position may involve exposure to export-controlled information and additional security screening.
