Senior Operations Analyst

Location: On-site at the customer location at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama; travel up to 35% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.

What you will do

• Review equipment readiness, maintenance, logistics, procurement support, sustainment planning, fielding, technical documentation, and configuration requirements.
• Coordinate aerial target mission support, including target checkout, launch and recovery, range and airspace scheduling, frequencies, external support agencies, operational testing, threat presentation, and live-fire training.
• Plan, schedule, organize, and direct personnel, equipment, and internal and external mission-support resources.
• Conduct site visits to assess equipment placement, ground support requirements, and target launch and recovery locations.
• Prepare post-mission documentation and after-action reports, and provide input on mission planning, travel, logistics, procurement, equipment support, and contract actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least 10 years of experience; 15 years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• Strong knowledge of aerial target operations, logistics, mission scheduling, launch and recovery systems, ground support equipment, event procedures, range coordination, and technical guidance.
• On-site presence at Redstone Arsenal is required.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI are required.
• Ability to travel up to 35% of the time to domestic and international locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with aerial threat and target systems, threat presentation equipment, and threat operations.
• Experience supporting military range operations, logistics, and munitions or support equipment coordination.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense aerial target, test, training, or threat-system programs.
• TS/SCI security clearance.
