Production Supervisor (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Torrance, California, United States; onsite production leadership role

What you will do

• Hire, develop, and lead a team of technicians supporting low-rate initial production goals.
• Supervise shop-floor activity, daily schedules, workflow, and production deliverables.
• Manage up to 30 technicians, including performance management and team development.
• Maintain tooling and consumable inventory and ensure required skills are available within the R&D team.
• Identify training needs from the skills matrix and drive continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Experience executing in fast-paced, ambiguous aerospace hardware manufacturing environments.
• Ability to access applicable export-controlled information without additional export licensing, as required.
• Employment may require eligibility for U.S. government security clearance or other government authorization, along with applicable citizenship or other legal requirements.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in an associated field.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role.
• Intimate knowledge of MES software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
