Location: Auckland, New Zealand; onsite vehicle integration leadership in a New Zealand office. The role requires eligibility to access equipment and data regulated by U.S. ITAR, with nationality checks conducted before an employment offer.

is an end-to-end aerospace company building rockets, spacecraft, and critical subsystems, including the Electron launch vehicle.
What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of more than 15 technicians and leading hands through coaching, one-on-ones, and performance reviews.
- Drive delivery commitments through demand and capacity planning and plan work across a one-to-four-week horizon.
- Identify and remove production blockers while maintaining quality outcomes and conformance to specifications.
- Manage training plans, skills matrices, certifications, and personnel development.
- Supervise product introductions from engineering development through full-rate production.
- Enforce standard operating procedures, health and safety requirements, daily metrics reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- At least 5 years of aviation, aerospace manufacturing, or maintenance experience.
- High school diploma, NCEA Level 2 with a minimum of 60 credits, or equivalent.
- For the New Zealand office, eligibility to access ITAR-regulated equipment and data is required; nationality and background checks apply.
- Applicants may be ineligible under ITAR rules unless they hold citizenship of Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, a European Union country, or a NATO member country, subject to restrictions on dual citizenship or nationality.
Nice to have
- Eight or more years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience managing resources for production-rate increases and aligning capacity with production forecasts.
- A track record of developing high-performing teams and a strong bias for action in problem-solving.
