Head of Product, New Customer Experience (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA — hybrid, with office attendance approximately 2–3 days per week. The same office expectations apply in Denver, New York City, and Scottsdale; the San Francisco office area includes San Jose.

Salary: $243,000–$292,000 per year in San Francisco, Seattle, and New York. Compensation varies by location, experience, and expertise.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end experience from customer discovery and evaluation through product activation.
• Define the strategy for acquisition, onboarding, activation, and the shared onboarding platform.
• Integrate AI into customer journeys, including AI assistants and agentic acquisition surfaces.
• Increase acquisition volume, onboarding conversion, and successful customer setup.
• Lead collaboration with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Sales, and Finance.
• Coach and manage a team of senior product managers while raising product craft and execution velocity.

Requirements

• 10+ years of direct Product Management experience, including 4+ years managing product managers.
• Experience owning a growth, acquisition, or onboarding funnel with accountability for conversion, revenue, or P&L results.
• Hands-on experience shipping AI-powered customer experiences and evaluating latency, cost, and performance.
• Experience selling to SMBs and working in a multi-product company with shared platforms and cross-team dependencies.
• Strong experimentation, customer understanding, and execution skills.
• Ability to work from the United States and meet the applicable hybrid office expectations.

• Experience owning a public web surface such as a marketing site or CMS.
