Head of Product (AI)

Location: NYC-Metro; hybrid

Base compensation: $250,000–$325,000 annually, plus annual bonus and equity.

hirify.global builds agentic artificial intelligence products for financial services, enabling regulated institutions to run traceable, auditable workflows within their existing controls.

What you will do

• Own product strategy and roadmap for the AI platform, connecting product priorities to company growth.
• Conduct discovery with private equity, insurance, and private-credit operations teams to understand workflows, pain points, and adoption requirements.
• Partner with Engineering on model selection and evaluation, human-in-the-loop design, data architecture, and appropriate automation boundaries.
• Translate asset-servicing, claims, and valuation expertise into product configuration, workflows, and baseline solutions.
• Turn strategy into shippable increments through objectives, build-measure-learn cycles, and coherent roadmap adjustments.
• Build and lead the product organization, while representing product with customers, investors, and company leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years managing product managers.
• Deep expertise in private equity or asset-management operations, P&C insurance claims, or private-credit and fund administration.
• Technical fluency in AI/ML-driven products, including the ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and scope ambiguous problems.
• Experience building products from 0-to-1 or 1-to-n in a startup or new business line.
• Enterprise or institutional customer-facing experience with discovery, scope negotiation, and complex product discussions.
• Hands-on player-coach approach, including writing specifications, running discovery calls, and investigating edge cases.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, or human-in-the-loop automation.
• Experience managing distributed domain-expert networks or scaling a product organization.
• CFA, FRM, or other financial-services credentials, or operating experience inside a financial institution.
• Experience with regulated enterprise software, auditability, and compliance controls.
• Experience working close to the C-suite or with institutional finance and AI ecosystems.
