Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote U.S.

Salary: $197K–$232K cash range, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design for the agent harness, from discovery and problem framing through launch and iteration.
• Define how agents, skills, tools, and memory are composed, surfaced, and understood.
• Design workflows for delegating, reviewing, correcting, approving, interrupting, and recovering from agent-generated work.
• Create conversational and agent interaction models across the product, Slack, and other third-party surfaces.
• Establish patterns for transparency, permissions, uncertainty, explainability, and responsible human control.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, AI Quality, and customer-facing teams to develop scalable design patterns.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience, including depth in B2B SaaS, complex workflows, or sophisticated software products.
• Experience designing AI-powered products, automation, dynamic product behavior, or multi-step agent systems.
• Strong interaction design, information architecture, UX writing, visual design, discovery, and product thinking skills.
• Experience designing for human judgment, customer review, third-party interfaces, and uncertain or incorrect automated outputs.
• Portfolio demonstrating shipped work, complex workflows, meaningful tradeoffs, and customer or user learning.
• Ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, Research, Data, and customer-facing teams and influence without formal authority.

Nice to have

• Experience with security, compliance, or GRC users.
• Experience contributing to design systems and reusable AI interaction patterns.
