Process Engineer (Wire Manufacturing)

Location: McKinney, Texas, United States; onsite at the Encore wire production facility

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for improved efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze production data and conduct root cause investigations to resolve inefficiencies.
• Support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain SOPs, work instructions, technical reports, and KPI reporting.
• Support the integration of equipment, technologies, and new product lines, while leading or contributing to engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive movement, walk, kneel, crouch, stoop, handle tools or controls, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Wire manufacturing experience.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
