Manager of Process Engineering (Power Distribution)

Location: Arvada, Colorado, United States; on-site

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year plus bonus, with restricted stock units included in all offers.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of process engineers through delegation, technical review, and coaching.
• Own manufacturing build readiness and Clear to Build milestones for engineered-to-order power distribution products.
• Manage Manufacturing Bills of Materials and guide the translation of Engineering BOMs into production-aligned MBOMs.
• Partner with the PLM Administrator on implementation, rollout, support, training, and process engineering adoption of the new manufacturing PLM system.
• Oversee interpretation and review of fabrication drawings, electrical schematics, and complex engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, inventory, project management, suppliers, and vendors on timelines, technical blockers, quotes, and manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering experience, including 2 or more years of direct people management.
• Expert-level technical ability in manufacturing engineering and the ability to guide teams through complex technical problems.
• Deep experience with MBOMs and ERP systems, plus the ability to read and review fabrication drawings, electrical schematics, and engineering BOMs.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, purchasing, production management, and continuous improvement methods.
• Safety-sensitive work requires participation in a drug and alcohol program.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD Electrical.
• PLM implementation or administration experience, preferably Siemens Teamcenter.
• ERP implementation, administration, or sustainment experience, preferably Acumatica.
• Experience leading 5S, visual factory, lean, and manufacturing process improvement initiatives.
